The new communication systems will allow Globalb
to work in a global level with the Albanian Diaspora, international
organisations and the Albanian home countries without a physical
establishment in all these locations but centrally based in London.
The aim is to acquire representatives where the Albanian Diaspora
community is focused and in Albanian home countries. In a world
system where people’s mobility is freer than we can remember
we can now gain knowledge and experience and share it for the betterment
of our society.
Globalb believes that working globally will trigger Diaspora to
contribute or perhaps offer a chance or a place for them to contribute;
it can raise awareness and a sense of unity and responsibility which
can be used for local development. We believe that local development
is an approach that stands a higher chance of success since progress
can be easily monitored and therefore more rewarding for everyone
involved.
Linking Local Capacities with Global Possibilities
In the last decades the urbanisation has taken over the
local capacities for development due to the nature of income opportunities
focusing on trade. Since trade is normally centred in the urban
areas the economy tends to flourish more in these areas and the
possibilities are greater. This phenomenon is noticed in most of
the market led societies. There are several disadvantages to this
pattern which devalues the need for local development. Globalb recognises
the need for a development focus in local capacity as this can prevent
many social problems if the society is centralised in large urban
cities. Globalb intends to work with business actors and explore
investment opportunities, launching business projects and also working
closely with local Globalb representatives and the local council.
